Latest news
Our dock's electrical has been fully upgraded to the newest marine electrical code, which requires GFCI outlets that only allow 30 milliwatts of cross current between ground and neutral. While the new standards are safer, we have found that as many as half the boats do not yet meet this standard.
The Port of Poulsbo, among others, is also using this new standard. If you've successfully used their docks in the last couple of years you should work at PSYC as well. If not or if you haven't checked your boat, you may have difficulty with the electricty on our docks until the wiring has been checked and corrected.
Since these new codes will be required at all marinas as they upgrade (in the US anyway), I would recommend that you have your boat checked before you head out.
