- Great location for visiting Seattle. Just inside the locks it provides several restaurants and bars. A short distance to the Ballard area with multiple restaurants and shopping.

- There is a gas fuel dock just to the east (Northlake Marina). Easy walk to groceries, drug store, restaurants, and banks. Take a sight seeing flight on Kenmore Air or a dingy ride up the Sammamish river.
